Zodra hij de toetsen begint te beuken\, ben je onderweg naar het Land of Good Times. \nDe internationaal bekende pianist\, zanger en opname-artiest Eric-Jan Overbeek (1967)\, beter bekend als Mr. Boogie Woogie\, won onlangs nog de Dutch Blues Challenge 2017. Daarnaast ontving hij de prestigieuze titel Best Dutch Blues Pianist 2010 van de Dutch Blues Foundation en werd hij in 2005 door de Trophées France Blues verkozen tot Best European Blues Pianist. Overbeek begon al op 8-jarige leeftijd met pianospelen en kreeg op zijn 12e zijn eerste vaste baan als pianist.
